LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Lee Curtis expressed concern about the devastating wildfires spreading through Pacific Palisades.

The actress revealed that her home might have been affected as she urged for community support during the crisis.

Jamie Lee Curtis calls for facts amid uncertainty about wildfire damage

Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed that her family was safe but acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding the fires and its impact on people.

"My community and possibly my home is on fire. My family is safe," Lee Curtis shared on Instagram.

"There are so many conflicting reports. With all the technology there seems to be very little information," she further wrote.

While urging for clarity, Lee Curtis added, "Please post facts! It will help those wondering! It is a terrifying situation and I'm grateful to the firefighters and all of the good Samaritans who are helping people get out of the way of the blaze."

Jamie Lee Curtis praises neighbors and firefighters for helping during crisis

Jamie Lee Curtis acknowledged the support within her community and the role of first responders.

"Neighbors have taken care of neighbors. We all take everything for granted because we are all living our lives but when it hits your community, it's particularly shocking. Life on life's terms," Curtis continued in her post.

The 'True Lies' actress urged people to assist each other during the disaster. "If ever there was need for the use of the phrase 'my hand in yours', it is right now. Take care of each other. Stay out of the way and let the firefighters do their work," Curtis wrote.

She also encouraged prayers for those affected by the fires. "Pray if you believe in it and even if you don't, pray for those who do," Curtis added.

Pacific Palisades fire impacts celebrities and forces evacuations

The Pacific Palisades fire has already forced tens of thousands of people, including celebrities, to evacuate.

Homes of stars such as Tom Hanks, Ben Affleck, Steven Spielberg, and Reese Witherspoon remain at risk, according to TMZ.

Chet Hanks, son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, expressed his concern on Instagram, saying, "The neighborhood I grew up in is burning to the ground rn [right now]. Pray for the Palisades."

'Star Wars' actor Mark Hamill described his experience of fleeing Malibu during another fire. Hamill said it was the "most horrific fire" since 1993 and urged people to stay safe.

Similarly, 'Schitt's Creek' star Eugene Levy was also one of the 30,000 people forced to evacuate.

According to the publication, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have already lost their house in the fire and are absolutely devastated.

Los Angeles' County Fire Chief, Anthony Marrone, confirmed that the fires had killed two people and destroyed over 1,000 homes, businesses, and other structures as of Wednesday, January 8, USA Today reported.

The fire, which started in the Pacific Palisades, has combined with the Eaton and Hurst fires, covering over 5,000 acres, according to the reports.

Authorities noted there were significant injuries to residents who did not evacuate as the first responders battled the flames.
