LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It appears that Jason Derulo is branching out into new territory with the launch of his debut podcast, 'On the Road.' However, social media users didn't seem impressed, and many tuned in to mock the singer.

Podcasts have become a platform for celebrities and politicians to share their unfiltered thoughts and stories. While numerous artists have tried their hand at podcasting, not all have been well-received by the public.

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani recently faced criticism for entering the podcasting world when he requested his social media supporters to pay a $10 monthly fee for podcast access, sparking online trolling.
