Jason Kelce sends fans into a frenzy as he jokes about his tight shirt during ESPN regular-season debut
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jason Kelce made his regular-season debut on 'Monday Night Countdown' on ESPN, and he immediately cracked a crude joke right before the Jets and 49ers wrapped up an exciting first week in San Francisco.
The 36-year-old revealed a wardrobe malfunction before the San Francisco 49ers won over the New York Jets at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clarita, California, on Monday, September 9.
Jason Kelce jokes about his weight during ESPN debut
Host Scott Van Pelt introduced the former Philadelphia Eagles player with a rundown of Jason Kelce's accomplishments, which included winning a Super Bowl and co-hosting the popular 'New Heights' podcast alongside brother Travis Kelce.
Host Van Pelt eventually revealed that Jason had to go to the mall to get a shirt for his TV appearance on Monday night because he had misplaced his travel bag.
Van Pelt stated, "All that said, Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt he got at the mall because he left his travel bag in the truck."
Jason revealed that although his weight loss helped his tummy fit into his new shirt rather nicely, there was still an issue with another area of his body. "It fits my belly now I've lost a little bit of weight but my t**s are still struggling," Jason snarked.

"The fact that a Hall of Fame center can shop at LuluLemon. That's big, man. That's a big accomplishment," retorted fellow analyst Ryan Clark.
Fans of the retired Eagles player, including Jason's brother, joined in to poke fun at the former NFL player when ESPN posted the video on Instagram.
Travis re-shared the clip and wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Surprised he bought a new one and didn’t just go shirtless," alluding to Jason's January post-season shirtless Kansas City Chiefs shouting.
Van Pelt laughed and almost shrugged while extending his arms to the camera as Jason joked about his appearance, per Daily Mail.

The brothers' podcast's Instagram page also commented, parodying an earlier joke about Jason forgetting an additional piece of clothing. "Why didn’t Jason bring a shirt for Jason?" read the 'New Heights' comment.
According to People, the sardonic remark from the podcast comes after Travis and Jason's widely shared conversation on Jason's attendance at the 'Kelce' premiere, the documentary that follows his 2022–2023 campaign.

An offended viewer wrote in part, "Jason can’t even show up dressed for the part. Sloppy, irresponsible and disrespectful to his colleagues and the viewers."
"I’m already annoyed with him, 16 more weeks of this," remarked another.
One added, "Someone needs to tell him it’s better to buy a bigger size than a smaller size"
I’m kinda upset that they fired RG3 for this guy… I’m not even a big RG3 fan, but at least he took his job seriously. Jason can’t even show up dressed for the part. Sloppy, irresponsible and disrespectful to his colleagues and the viewers.
