JD Vance brutally roasts Elizabeth Warren after she fails to give Trump credit for Gaza deal

WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President JD Vance didn't mince his words while responding to Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren’s remarks on the landmark Gaza peace deal on Monday, October 13.
Earlier that day, Donald Trump delivered remarks to the Knesset in Jerusalem after helping broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, one that led to the release of 20 Israeli hostages who had been held captive in Gaza for nearly two years.
Instead of recognizing the president’s role in achieving the breakthrough, Warren issued a statement that focused entirely on her own long-standing advocacy for the hostages’ return.
For two excruciating years, I have called for the return of the hostages brutally kidnapped on October 7th and held in Gaza.

Today is a good day. Surviving Israeli hostages are finally home and reuniting with loved ones. I'm thinking of them and their families on this joyful day… https://t.co/V6uDL89Gzj
Elizabeth Warren praises the release of hostages but ignores Trump’s role
“For two excruciating years, I have called for the return of the hostages brutally kidnapped on October 7th and held in Gaza,” Elizabeth Warren wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Today is a good day. Surviving Israeli hostages are finally home and reuniting with loved ones.”

She added, "I’m thinking of them and their families on this joyful day and praying for their full recovery. I’m also grieving for all those who can’t come home today."
"Today must also be an important step toward lasting peace in the region — peace for both Israelis and Palestinians. We must end the war in Gaza, surge humanitarian aid, and negotiate a two-state solution now," Warren concluded.
JD Vance delivers a brutal response

Moments after Elizabeth Warren shared her post, JD Vance fired off a reply that sent shockwaves through political circles.
"The president told me he did this on Indigenous Peoples Day in honor of you," the vice president quipped, referencing Trump’s long-running “Pocahontas” jab at Warren over her past claims of Native American heritage.

Vance's one-liner instantly caught fire online, with users praising Vance’s quick wit and ability to deliver a cutting response without naming Warren directly. The exchange underscored the renewed tension between the Biden-era Democrats and Trump’s administration, which has claimed a string of foreign policy wins since returning to office.
