ROME, ITALY: Vice President JD Vance visited the grave of late Pope Francis on Sunday, May 18, accompanied by second lady Usha Vance, after the inaugural mass of new pontiff Pope Leo in Rome, Italy.

However, his post sparked a meme fest online due to Vance's unexpected connection to the late Pope Francis. Just hours before Francis died on April 21, Vance met briefly with him, thus fueling speculation online that he was somehow responsible for his death.
