TMZ reported that Vance was under the watchful eye of two United States Secret Service agents and had the pool to himself.
Vance is expected to hit the campaign trail hard in the coming weeks, making multiple rally appearances and targeting the Harris-Walz ticket. The upcoming weeks will be crucial for both campaigns, with both a presidential and vice presidential debate scheduled.
Notably, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris will face off on Tuesday, September 10, while Vance will compete against Tim Walz on October 1.
Vance recently told a reporter that he won't be prepping for his debate with Walz and has decided to concentrate on engaging with everyday Americans during his campaign trail, per Newsweek.
JD Vance’s alleged drag queen photo from 2011 surfaced
In August 2024, a photo purportedly showing JD Vance in drag during his time at Yale Law School in 2011 surfaced online, igniting controversy.
The photographs were shared on Facebook in April 2011 by a former classmate, tagging Vance. One of the image’s captions also mentioned his wife, Usha Vance, per The Daily Beast.
According to a source who spoke to the Daily Beast, Vance was a vocal supporter of LGBTQ+ causes before 2021 and actively advocated against "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" during his time in law school.
However, the GOP running mate is now a vocal critic of gender-affirming care for minors and has opposed federal protections for gay and interracial marriages.
