NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: After a long day of covering Donald Trump’s hush money trial for Fox News, Jeanine Pirro paused to collect herself before launching into a fiery critique of star witness Stormy Daniels on the May 11 episode of Fox News' 'The Five'.

Pirro's criticism of Daniels, tagging her as a woman who 'lies and lays for a living' comes after the Fox News host attended the trial on May 10 (Day 14 of the trial), where reportedly, Donald Trump, holding papers, quietly said something, making a gesture of greeting towards Pirro in the gallery.

According to The Guardian, Donald Trump entered the courtroom showing clear signs of frustration after enduring two days of testimony from adult film actor Stormy Daniels.

On Friday, Judge Juan Merchan denied Trump’s lawyer's request to impose a gag order against Michael Cohen after the former attorney made comments about the trial on TikTok livestreams. But Merchan did ask the prosecutors to instruct him to stop commenting about the case and Trump.

The court session will reconvene on the morning of May 13, possibly with Donald Trump's former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen taking the witness stand.

Pirro, being an attendee at the trial, described what she thought of Madeleine Westerhout's testimony and even unloaded on Stormy Daniels in the process saying: "Donald Trump would be on the phone, he’d be signing checks. He’d be talking to people and signing checks."

"You can’t even show if he signed the check that he knew what he was signing, other than Rona [Graff] sent it to him, and Rona had no knowledge of the agreement allegedly between the woman who lies for a living, lays for a living, and lies for a living," she added.

Pirro didn't reserve her criticism solely for Daniels; at the beginning of the show, she also delivered sharp remarks about Judge Merchan and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

"Well, Ok, there’s so much that went through my mind — Let me tell you something. I’m sitting in that courtroom, and I’m looking at the judge, a guy who’s wearing a robe, literally saying to the prosecutor, ‘Mr. Prosecutor? Could you tell Michael Cohen that I ask you to tell him not to talk?’ Talk about a spineless wonder!” Pirro described.

She continued, "The judge does not want to gag Michael Cohen. He refuses to because he’s part of this whole conspiracy to convict Trump. The truth is, if you are going to gag Donald Trump, which you don’t have a right to do in this case, you’ve got to gag Michael Cohen. Everybody knows that."

"The ordinary American out there knows it. But, when he turned into such a wuss — ‘Can you tell him, I’m asking you to tell him’ — are you stupid?! Do you not know you are a judge?" Pirro added.

Pirro then questioned why Alvin Bragg, accompanied by his bodyguard, would enter the courtroom and take a seat, expressing surprise and skepticism about his presence in the proceedings.

"This is an expired misdemeanor that we don’t even know is true, and what you’re doing is, you’re coming in here to make sure that jury knows this case is important to Manhattan, while there are people in jail who have been sitting in jail for years on violent felonies," said Pirro.

Social media reacts to Judge Jeanine Pirro's comments on Stormy Daniels

Pirro seems to cast doubt on the credibility of Daniels's testimony in the trial, describing her as someone who engages in dishonest activities for a living.

However, viewers were split down in the middle by Pirro's statements, with many expressing criticism on social media platforms like X and others supporting her.

One viewer articulated, "Stormy lays for a living while a FoxNews host lies for a living."

Another viewer chimed in, "Says the woman who lies for a living."
