Jelly Roll is reportedly 'doing really well' after finalizing divorce from Bunnie Xo
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Jelly Roll is reportedly "doing really well" following his divorce settlement from media producer Bunnie Xo after ten years of marriage, with his focus now on his tour, his health and moving forward.
The former couple officially finalized their divorce in July 2026 after mutually agreeing to end their romantic relationship, with Jelly Roll listing May 9 as their date of separation while both committed to remaining best friends.
Jelly Roll focuses on tour and health after respectful divorce
“He’s focused on his tour and his health,” a source told PEOPLE, adding that the 'Run It' hitmaker, born Jason DeFord, is “in a good place.” The insider also said there was “never any desire to drag the process out” during the divorce proceedings and claimed that both of them wanted “to handle the divorce with respect for one another.”
The source further shared that the Grammy-winning musician is “a very generous person by nature and wanted to make sure the divorce was handled fairly and respectfully.” News broke on Friday that he and the 'Dumb Blonde' podcast host, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, had finalized their split.
While the exact details of the settlement remain confidential, TMZ reported that the pair agreed to divide several shared assets, including their homes, vehicles, an aircraft and their intellectual properties.
According to the outlet, Jelly Roll will also make a one-time confidential lump-sum payment to Bunnie Xo, meaning there will be no alimony claims made in court. The agreement reportedly also includes a clause preventing both parties from “trash talking” one another.
The former pair tied the knot at a Las Vegas chapel in 2016, with Bunnie Xo supporting the country singer financially throughout his early career and years of struggle. Seven years later, they also returned to the same chapel to renew their wedding vows.
Bunnie Xo shares future family plans after divorce settlement
Following news of the settlement, Bunnie Xo took to Instagram to show how she is doing by giving comedian Matt Matthews a tour of her luxurious new home. During the tour, she showed features including an outdoor shower, expansive closets and a massive bed.
Last month, she announced on her podcast that despite the divorce, she still plans to have a baby with Jelly Roll. She was also spotted kissing 24-year-old reality star Dylan Wolf at her former husband's Nashville bar earlier this month.
The podcaster has also spoken openly about her fertility journey. “It wrecked me emotionally, spiritually, physically,” she said. Earlier this year, Bunnie Xo revealed in her memoir 'Stripped Down' that she and Jelly Roll had also found a surrogate.
In the since-deleted July 7 episode of her podcast, she shared that, as part of the settlement, she would move into their compound with their future child. “I’m so excited to live my life through a child’s eyes, which is why this baby journey, I’m not going to let it break me, and I’m not going to deter it,” she said.
Jelly Roll also addressed fans during the Saratoga Springs, New York, stop of his tour in June, saying that Bunnie Xo “will be my best friend forever.” He also told the audience that she would “probably be the only woman I will ever love the way I loved her” and emphasized that “nobody cheated on nobody” before their split.
