The country singer recently posted an inspiring video on Instagram after completing a hike up Arizona's Camelback Mountain, encouraging others to stay committed to their fitness goals.

Jelly Roll opens up on pushing through tough days
On Sunday, February 9, Jelly Roll spoke candidly about the challenges of making lifestyle changes, describing the process as painful but worthwhile.
In the video, Roll admitted to feeling exhausted and sore but found motivation in the breathtaking view from the top of the mountain.
"Listen, I just wanted to let y'all know something from the bottom of my heart. I'm tired, I'm frustrated, I'm sore," he said before showing the scenic view. "But holy f**k, isn't that beautiful?" he said, according to Parade.
He encouraged his fans to keep moving despite the hardships. "I hope y'all are getting out moving today, it's worth the sacrifice, it's worth the pain," he said.

"I realized today that some days when I get out here in this process of trying to make this massive life change... some days, I come out here and I feel great," he said.
"But today kinda reminded me that sometimes you have those days, man, where you just don't feel it at all," he added.
Jelly Roll's initial struggle with weight loss
Jelly Roll described the reality of making significant life changes, acknowledging that the process can be frustrating.
"And even when you get walking, you don't feel it. Your heartbeat starts pumping, you still don't completely feel it. You know what I mean?" he said.
He urged fans to stay realistic about the challenges. "We can't live in a false sense of this thing, not sucking," he explained.

"Like, you're making this big of a life change, it's gonna hurt. Be painful. I'm sore all the time," Roll explained.
He shared that the first couple of months felt discouraging. "Especially the first couple months, you feel like you're just pissing in the wind. Like, you can't get any progress," he added.
Despite the difficulties, he reassured his fans that persistence pays off and invited them to join him for a 5K event. "We are gonna do this thing together y'all," he said. "Love y'all, man."
Jelly Roll opens up on what keeps him going
Having once weighed over 500 pounds, Jelly Roll has lost 120 pounds and remains committed to his journey.
He told E! News that his motivation comes from the people he has met along the way.
"The things that motivate me and keep me going are the people I have met across the juveniles and rehab centers or prisons along the way," he said.
He spoke about the inspiring encounters with people who share their struggles and successes.

"The people that come up to me and bravely share their sobriety date, or a story of something that they've dealt with, or someone they’ve lost," he said.
Roll, who has brushed with authorities for his past struggles with addiction, aggravated robbery and drug charges, shared how the resilience of others inspires him.
"Seeing the resilience of the human spirit, there is no greater motivation than to keep going," he said.
