Jelly Roll sheds nearly 200lbs
Jelly Roll appeared on stage on Pat McAfee’s 'Big Night Aht' live show on Wednesday, April 9. The host praised the country singer, saying, “Looks like you lost a person,” which drew cheers from the audience.
McAfee further said, “Congratulations, do you mind giving an update on where you started and where you are now?”

“I started at 540 pounds and I was 357 pounds this morning,” Roll said as the crowd applauded while he flexed his arms.
He went on to say, “I’m gonna lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby!”
He's married to Alyssa DeFord, popularly known as Bunnie XO.
This recent progress follows the singer’s revelation at the end of 2024 that he had lost more than 100 pounds throughout the year.

Jelly Roll spills the beans on striking weight loss journey
In a conversation with Billboard, Jelly Roll talked about how he managed to stay on track with his weight loss goals.
“Making small, intentional choices daily is a real thing that I have honed in on and that has been so impactful during this process,” he said.
“I think it’s changed my ability to keep up with my progress, since it has been an honest conversation of ‘in that moment’ which one is the better option to stay on track?” he added during the interview.

The 'Save Me' singer also discussed his motivation during a conversation with his wife, Bunnie XO, on her 'Dumb Blonde Podcast' back in December per the outlet.
“I think that people who become as big as I became, when they lose the weight, they’re kind of ashamed,” he told Bunnie XO.

“They’re so ashamed that they go hide and lose the weight, and then they come back out and they don’t really know how to interact with the world," he added.
Roll reflected on his career, saying, “What I want the world to know, and I want people to see … is that I didn’t become successful because of my weight. I became successful in spite of it. I somehow managed to be this successful carrying 550 pounds. That’s insane.”
Internet thinks Jelly Roll 'looks great' after dropping nearly 200lbs
Fans quickly dropped their comments on Jelly Roll's stunning weight loss transformation after the interview aired. While many acknowledged the struggles associated with the weight loss, some criticized the singer's possible use of Ozempic.
“I don’t think people who do not have this struggle, understand the struggle it really is. Great job!” one user shared on X.
“Heck yeah, Jelly! I love to see people make health a priority. Keep pushing!” wrote another.
“He looks great!” added a third.
“Proud of you @JellyRoll615 Great work!” one more user posted.
Still, others speculated about the role of medications like Ozempic in his transformation. “‘I’d be more impressed if he did it through diet and exercise instead of a shot,” read one comment.
“Hope Ozempic doesn’t have long term effects that haven’t been discovered yet. Definitely a last resort drug not a first,” said another.
“Sold his soul, ozempic... Jelly a sell out,” another user wrote.
