ONTARIO, CANADA: Jelly Roll, the country star who has openly shared his past struggles with addiction and homelessness, proved once again that he's as much about action as he is about words.

During a recent stop in Canada, he turned one fan’s life around with a surprise she never saw coming - a brand-new car.

Jelly Roll stuns fan with surprise gift

The fan, Michelle Boissoneault from London, Ontario, has dedicated her life to helping those experiencing homelessness - a situation she once faced herself.

Through acts of kindness bringing food, shoes, and support to those in need she has become an advocate for people fighting the same battles she once did.

Social media personality MD Motivator, known for viral acts of generosity, helped orchestrate the surprise.

A viral video posted by MD Motivator captures the entire emotional journey. It starts with Boissoneault handing out essentials like shoes and food to people living on the streets - one of whom, unbeknownst to her, was MD Motivator himself, undercover. Moved by her generosity, he revealed that Jelly Roll had taken notice of her work.

Boissoneault thought she was simply receiving concert tickets and a meet-and-greet with the singer but Jelly Roll had something much bigger in store.

Handing her a note, he read aloud, “Congratulations, you will not be home tonight because Jelly Roll wanted to personally invite you to his show with VIP tickets.”

Overcome with emotion, Boissoneault begins to cry, unable to believe what’s unfolding before her. Unbeknownst to her, Jelly had even more surprises waiting at the venue that evening.

The video then cuts to the singer greeting her with a warm smile and yet another heartfelt note from his 2023 CMA Awards New Artist of the Year acceptance speech, “The windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror for a reason, because what's in front of you is so much more important than what's behind you. Put on this blindfold.”

Moments later, with a blindfold on, she was led outside. When it came off, Jelly Roll was standing there, holding car keys. “Yours is the type of story I write songs about,” he told her before handing over the keys to a brand-new car.

One user praised the recipient, writing, “Michelle, your story is so strong! You’re such a beautiful human. What an incredible night.” Another was inspired by Jelly Roll’s kindness, saying, “My man, I love you!! I wanna do the same for people one day.”

Many were overwhelmed by the emotions of the moment, with one fan admitting, “Damn, I was not ready for all that emotion in 2 minutes and 20 seconds.”

One shared, “You’re such a great human being, brother! I’m almost 5 years sober from alcohol, cocaine, and narcotics! Mind over matter, self-love, and praise God! Keep doing good things, brother.”

Another commented, “Dear Zach thank you.”
