Jennifer Aniston sparks engagement rumor after rocking huge diamond on her ring finger at SAG Awards
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Aniston has sparked engagement rumors after rocking a huge diamond ring during her outing at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday, February 24.
The ‘Friends’ star, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her ‘The Morning Show’, turned heads through her sartorial choices after opting for a flowing silvery gown for the occasion.
She, however, paired her ensemble with a large diamond ring that she wore on her ring finger. Previously, in January 2024, she even suggested that she plans to 'tie the knot' sometime down the line.
Aniston, who is currently known to be single, previously said that she would “love a relationship,” per The Sun.
Dating history of Jennifer Aniston
The ‘Friends’ star was previously married two times to fellow actors.
In 2000, Aniston tied the knot with Brad Pitt, 60, but the relationship came to an end in 2005 when the two stars decided to divorce each other.
She walked down the aisle for the second time in 2015, when she married actor Justin Theroux, 52. Though the couple divorced in 2018, they decided to remain on friendly terms.
During an interview with Esquire in April 2021, Theroux shared his equation with Aniston and said, “We don’t talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text," per Us Weekly.
‘The Leftovers’ actor added, “She makes me laugh very, very hard … It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally. And I’d like to think the same for her.”
Jennifer Aniston said she would love relationship
In late 2022, Aniston spoke to Allure to reveal that she would “love a relationship.”
When she was asked whether she would consider getting married again, the Emmy-winning actress said, "Never say never, but I don't have any interest.”
She, nevertheless, added, "I'd love a relationship. Who knows?” and went on to explain that sometimes she feels the need to have a partner in her life.
She continued, “There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, 'I need support,’" and added, "It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody's arms and say, 'That was a tough day.’”
Later in an interview with Wall Street Journal Magazine in August 2023, she revealed that she found romantic relationships to be difficult for her parents divorce.
Aniston's parents - Nancy Dow and John Aniston - divorced in 1980 when the 'Murder Mystery' star was just nine-year-old. Witnessing her family crisis in the tender age, Aniston developed a cautious view about relationships.
She shared with WSJ, “Watching my family’s relationship didn’t make me kind of go, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to do that,'” and added, “It was always a little bit difficult for me in relationships … because I really was kind of alone.”
She later explained, “I didn’t like the idea of sacrificing who you were or what you needed,” so it was “almost easier to just be kind of solo … It’s still a challenge for me in a relationship.”
