Jennifer Aniston's house from her ‘Friends’ days sold for $2.59M weeks after Matthew Perry’s death
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Aniston's former home during her early 'Friends' days has reportedly been sold for $2.595 million.
The property, located in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood, comprised a main house, an office/studio, a pool house, and a charming A-frame guest house where the 54-year-old actress lived in the 1990s, as per reports by PEOPLE.
Laurel Canyon has a rich history
It is said that the former abode of Aniston features a private kitchenette and fireplace.
Listing agent Wendy Moore reportedly said, “Laurel Canyon stands out as a truly exceptional enclave in Los Angeles, with a rich history dating back to the golden era of Hollywood.”
The agent also added, “What sets this property apart is its unassuming charm; it's been dubbed the Crown Jewel of Laurel Canyon, yet it maintains the laid-back, funky vibe that draws buyers to this neighborhood.”
Matthew Perry's death left 'Friends' cast devastated
Meanwhile, reports said that the estate was put up for sale nearly a week before Matthew Perry’s death, who died on October 28.
Following the tragedy, all ‘Friends’ stars, including Aniston issued a joint statement, which read, “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.”

She penned on Instagram, “Oh boy this one has cut deep... Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I’ve never experienced before.
“We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love. Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel the moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deep.”
She continued, “And we loved him deeply. He was such a part of our DNA. We were always the 6 of us. This was a chosen family that forever changed the course of who we were and what our path was going to be.”
“Matty, I love you so much and I know you are now completely at peace and out of any pain. I talk to you every day… sometimes I can almost hear you saying ‘could you BE any crazier?’ Rest little brother. You always made my day…” Aniston added.
