LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Garner has shown some acuity more than a week after the death of her father at the age of 85.

The 51-year-old posted a video of herself walking through a stone labyrinth surrounding a tree to her Instagram on April 9, reports People.

The clip is accompanied by audio of actress Helena Bonham Carter reciting Emily Dickinson's poem, 'Hope Is the Thing with Feathers'.

The '13 Going On 30' star added the poem's words in the caption to her post, "Hope is the thing with feathers / That perches in the soul / And sings the tune / without the words / And never stops at all."

Jennifer Garner's father William Garner died on March 30

Jennifer shared news of her father William Garner's death on April 1. She posted several photos of him over the years to Instagram while writing that he "passed peacefully" on March 30.

"We were with him, singing Amazing Grace as he left us (did we carry him across or scare him away— valid question)," she wrote at the time. "While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, I know grief is unavoidable, waiting around unexpected corners. Today is for gratitude."

"There is so much to say about my dad— my sisters and I will never be done talking about how wonderful he was, so bear with us — but for today I share these memories with my appreciation for the kind and brilliant man, father, and grandfather he was, as well as the loving legacy he left behind," she concluded.

Jennifer received overwhelming support in the comments of that Instagram tribute from her family, friends, and celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Aniston, and Elizabeth Banks, among others. Jennifer Garner on the 'hard' part of letting her children decide their future as they grow

MEAWW previously reported that Jennifer has opened up about the “hard” part of being a mother to growing children. The actress shares three kids with her former husband, Ben Affleck. They are Violet Anne, 18, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12.

In an interview with the outlet, the actress shared that she’s “just watching them in this new phase of life where they're figuring out who they're going to be and what they're going to study.”

“All the time, I'm interested in everything about them,” she noted. However, she also mentioned that leaving her children to decide independently has not been easy for her.

Jennifer told the publication, “I mean, my parents did too, and I'm so amazed by that.” She continued, “I have a really hard time not saying, 'This is what I see you as,' and 'I think you should.’ I really have to sit on my hands.”
