Jennifer Lopez talks about her inspiration behind upcoming album 'This Is Me'
At the event, the 54-year-old singer spoke about 'This Is Me', her upcoming album which she described as the "most personal" work of hers so far.
Explaining that the project was done by drawing inspiration from her love story with Affleck, Lopez said, "This project was something I didn't really plan." "When the music was done I just thought to myself, 'There's more of a story to be told here," she added.
"There's been a bigger journey than just a love story here. And so it became a much bigger, fuller project, with an incredible message. And I realized I had to really get personal to tell it," she continued.
For the creation of the upcoming album's accompanying documentary, 'This Is Me...Now: The Film' that portrays Lopez's real-life journey to find love, the 'Hypnotic' actor worked alongside Lopez.
