LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck appears to be starting over with new look and lifestyle changes following his recent split from Jennifer Lopez which has reportedly left the singer fuming because "these are all the things she wanted him to do."

According to a source, Affleck's hair and beard makeover is only the beginning of his decision to completely revamp his life now that he is single once again, per In Touch Weekly.

The source claimed that the actor's ex-wife Lopez is furious that he was never concerned enough to take care of himself in this way during their marriage.

Jennifer Lopez 'seeing red' with Ben Affleck's post-divorce makeover

Ben Affleck has reportedly been working on transforming his life as the estranged couple prepares for divorce. However, Jennifer Lopez is not happy with the actor's recent dramatic makeover since their separation.

The 'Gone Girl' star, 52, was spotted on Thursday, October 3, in Santa Monica with his child, Fin. He sported a pressed button-down shirt, blue dress slacks, black shoes, and a matching silver watch.

Affleck has reportedly been focusing more on self-care, trimming his beard and hair, with the faint gray flecks apparently disappearing.

Speaking to In Touch, the source revealed, "Ben is suddenly going out of his way to pamper himself and look his absolute best."

"He’s now dying his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, getting waxed from head to toe," the source added. "He’s even getting hair plugs and seeing the dermatologist for skin treatments to turn back the clock. Even his diet is cleaner. He’s cut out a ton of the junk."

The insider continued, "As you can imagine JLo is seeing red because these are all the things she wanted him to do when they were together and he totally refused."

The source suggested that it’s now clear Affleck is ready to move forward after his split from Lopez.

The source said, "It feels like a total slap in the face because it’s sending this message that she wasn’t worth making these changes for, but now that he’s single and looking to impress new women he’s willing to step it up and stop being such a slob."

"Everyone is telling her he’s just a middle-aged fool who didn’t deserve her, but she’s seething and feeling pretty let down too," the source concluded.

Another insider revealed to In Touch in May 2021 that Lopez and Affleck were dating again, and by June of that year, the source added, "They’re talking about their future together."

Less than two years into their marriage, the 'Argo' star and his singer wife, 55, faced challenges, spending nearly the entire summer of 2024 apart, including during their second anniversary.

In May, In Touch reported that they were "headed for a divorce," with their separation date noted as April 26 on the petition filed on August 20.
