Jeremy Renner visits Reno hospital one year after tragic snowplow accident, says he is ‘forever in debt’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: One year after his horrific snowplow accident that left him with 30 broken bones, Jeremy Renner returned to the hospital that treated him to express his gratitude and respect.
The 'Hawkeye' star posted photos to his Instagram on Friday, December 29, showing him smiling with hospital workers, first responders, and children at Reno Hospital in Nevada, reports People.

“Rollin through Reno, NV with joy, blessings, and 🍕!!!,” he captioned the post.
“Stopped by to see kids/superheroes , first responders, and doctors, nurses and staff at Renown hospital.”
He added, “Paying my respects and celebrating love, life and the blessings it brings to us all. Thank you and this community for keeping me here… I’m forever in your debt with gratitude #loveandtitanium”

Jeremy Renner’s nonprofit Rennervation Foundation supports vulnerable children
The photo showed Renner sitting in the passenger seat of a fire truck with a logo of his nonprofit Rennervation Foundation on the side.
According to its website, the foundation provides “solid and compassionate support to vulnerable children.” Renner also posed with the Truckee Meadows Fire Department, who were among the first responders who rushed to his aid after the accident.
He wrote in the caption to the photo, "Proud of you. Thank you"
Renner also shared a photo of himself at Renown Hospital as a large crowd surrounded him, "This team showing up,” he wrote.

Renner’s accident occurred on New Year’s Day 2023 when he was snowplowing with his nephew in Lake Tahoe.
He saw his 14,330-pound PistenBully heading towards his nephew and jumped in front of it, pushing him out of the way. The impact shattered his ribs, broke his leg, and fractured his mandible. He said that he broke 30 bones in his body.

Bodycam footage released by the authorities showed the bloody scene and the actor being airlifted to the hospital.
Renner opened up about the ordeal in an interview with Diane Sawyer in March, saying he felt “all of the pain” and was “awake through every moment.” He also revealed that he thought he was going to die and wrote his last words to his family on his phone.

He said he had no regrets and would “do it again” to save his nephew. Renner has since recovered from his injuries and resumed his acting career. He made his first red carpet-appearance in April and is set to reprise his role as 'Hawkeye' in the upcoming Disney+ series.
