Jerry O'Connell says John Stamos should have given a heads up to his wife Rebecca Romijn about memoir
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jerry O’Connell isn't impressed by John Stamos’s memoir ‘If You Would Have Told Me’ for including stories about his wife Rebecca Romijn - who also happens to be Stamos' ex spouse.
During an interview with TMZ on Thursday, December 14, ‘The Talk’ co-host was asked questions related to the contemporary memoir culture. O’Connell talked about the stories regarding Romijn in Stamos’s memoir that was released in October 2023.

Referring to Stamos’s inclusion of stories about Romijn in the memoir, O’Connell said they were “a little scary.”
Talking about the general proliferation of memoirs in recent times, the ‘Scream 2’ star, continued, “People gotta make a living I guess,” before adding, “It just happens.”
He further added in the interview that if he and the ‘X-Men’ actress were to separate in the future and he were to write a tell-all memoir, he would give her a heads up in the writing.
'It’s not really my place to say [anything]'
This is, nevertheless, not the first time that O’Connell has shaded Stamos’ book. In October, he garnered huge accolades from fans after handling the questions regarding the memoir like a pro.
O’Connell appeared on 'Access Hollywood' when hosts Kit Hoover and Mario Lopez asked his opinion on Romijn being a subject of the ‘Full House’ actor's memoir.

O’Connell replied, "You know, it’s not really my place to say [anything]," before adding, "I would rather my wife talk about that," per Good Housekeeping.
However, he disclosed that he and his wife did not receive any warning about the actress being discussed in the book. He nonetheless dissipated the tension by joking that he did not want to ponder on the topic, saying, "My wife and I are getting along so well today.”
John Stamos' view on Rebecca Romijn
Per Page Six, Stamos accused Romijn of infidelity during their marriage and wrote, “Betrayal starts as a sinking feeling in your stomach, grows into a suspicion that clouds your every thought, and by the time you find out the truth, it’s uniquely horrible at first but also expected, like you’ve been waiting for something bad to happen.”
The 'Full House' actor and Romijn got married in 1998, and after a tumultuous relationship got divorced in 2005.
Stamos later found love with Caitlin McHugh whom he married in 2018. The couple welcomed a son named Billy two months after their marriage. Romijn, on the other hand, married O'Connell in 2007 and the couple went on to welcome their twin daughters - Charlie and and Dolly, 14.
While promoting his book in October, Stamos further said to PEOPLE, "In my mind back then, she was the devil, and I just hated her. I couldn't believe how much I hated her, and it ruined my life."
