LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jesse Watters drew swift and sharp criticism across social media platforms after suggesting that former President Donald Trump would emerge from any potential prison stint with a chiseled physique.

Watters, host of 'Jesse Watters Primetime', ignited a storm of ridicule when he asserted, "Trump is going to come out with a prison body. That's what happens when you go to prison; you work out, that's all there is to do."

Legal storm brews as Donald Trump faces accusations in hush-money trial

This remark came in the midst of renewed threats of legal consequences for Trump, stemming from his alleged involvement in a criminal hush money trial in New York City.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg accuses Trump of tampering with business records to conceal payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election.

However, Trump vehemently denies these allegations, attributing them to what he perceives as a politically motivated vendetta against him.

Justice Juan Merchan has cautioned Trump against further social media attacks on witnesses and jurors, warning that continued misconduct could result in imprisonment. "The last thing that I want to do is to put you in jail," Merchan expressed on Monday, acknowledging the gravity of such a decision.

Despite the serious legal implications at hand, Watters' flippant prediction regarding Trump's physical transformation behind bars only added fuel to the fire.

Social media users wasted no time in lambasting both Watters and the notion of a former president facing incarceration.

Speculation and satire reign as Donald Trump faces legal pressure

Twitter erupted with a mix of sarcasm and speculation as users responded to Jesse Watters' prediction about Trump's potential prison stint.

One user wrote, "Even they know he's going to jail. "

Another added, "The only thing Trump is going to come out of prison with is a manifesto."

One user replied, "So, he is going to prison for 2 years?"

Another said, "I guess Watters has accepted the fact that Trump is going to prison for a lot longer than 8 hrs."

One user replied, "So @JesseBWatters is admitting that Trump is guilty?"
