WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Jesse Watters has made headlines once again with his commentary on the shifting dynamics of the 2024 presidential race.

On his show, 'Jesse Watters Primetime', Watters seized on recent legal developments involving former President Donald Trump, presenting them as a significant setback for Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign.

Jesse Watters highlights Donald Trump’s legal delay as major setback for Kamala Harris' campaign

In a recent segment, Jesse Watters highlighted what he termed a "major blow" to Kamala Harris' campaign. He remarked, "Major blow for the Harris campaign today after the Manhattan judge in Trump's hush money case delayed sentencing until after the election."

According to Watters, this delay had been a crucial factor that Harris was relying on to gain momentum against Trump in the pivotal months leading up to the election.

Watters elaborated on the potential impact of the delay, stating, "Harris was hoping for Trump to hit a legal pothole in October. And now, legally, Trump has a clear road ahead."

Adding to the discussion, Watters cited political analyst Nate Silver, who has expressed concerns about Harris’ campaign prospects. Watters quoted Silver’s analysis, which reportedly suggests, "Let’s talk about the elephant in the room – the Electoral College is starting to look like a challenge for Kamala Harris."

According to Silver, Trump’s path to victory is becoming increasingly plausible, with forecasts indicating that he could win every battleground state by margins ranging from 1 to 4 points.

Watters continued, “Silver gives Trump a 62% chance of winning and the Clintons are sharpening their knives.” This statistic highlights the growing concern among Democrats about their prospects in the upcoming election.

Jesse Watters questions Kamala Harris’ debate readiness and performance

Additionally, Jesse Watters addressed concerns about Kamala Harris’ public performances, noting, “Even Biden's going to watch Tuesday's debate with low expectations. His team thinks Kamala Harris' public performances are uneven and often not reassuring.”

Watters pointed out that Harris’ team is reportedly worried about her tendency to be “risk-averse to the point of paralysis,” raising doubts about her ability to handle the pressure of a high-stakes debate effectively.

He further questioned the strategic decisions regarding Harris’s preparation, stating, “So if Kamala Harris chokes under pressure and freezes with indecision, shouldn’t they be warming her up with interviews instead of throwing her into the biggest debate of her life? Cold?”

Jesse Watters’ commentary on Kamala Harris and Donald Trump sparks mixed reactions

As Jesse Watters discusses Kamala Harris’ campaign and Donald Trump’s legal situation, public reactions on social media have been notably mixed.

One user wrote, "I've been waiting for Jesse to hit a pothole."

Another user added, "Jesse is lousy… Fox News May need to consider a better host for that prime time spot. Maybe someone that is not so full of shht. I get having an opinion, but his shtick 'crazy guy yelling crazy shht is boring." [sic]

One added, "She doesn't need it....Trump keeps talking and sounds like an idiot...he is burying himself."

One person said, "You mean the pothole vonsisting of a superseding indictment for election interference? Or perhaps the 34 count felony conviction? Or the one where he was an adjudicated rapist? Or the civil trial where he owes about half a billion dollars? Do those ring a bell, you immoral muppet." [sic]

Another replied, "Jessie Watters is trash."
