LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During a recent episode of 'Jesse Watters Primetime', Fox News host Jesse Watters made a series of dramatic statements regarding the failed assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Watters expressed deep concerns over the handling of the situation by the Secret Service and called for significant congressional action, according to Fox News.

Jesse Watters’ criticism of Secret Service leadership

Jesse Watters began by emphasizing the gravity of the situation, stating, “We were seconds away from a live execution of a presidential frontrunner and the Secret Service director isn't being fired, isn't resigning, and promises it won't happen again.”

He criticized the lack of accountability for the Secret Service leadership, questioning the integrity of the ongoing internal investigation. He added, “How do we know her internal investigation isn't going to be a cover-up? This woman destroyed her texts from Jan 6 and blew up the White House cocaine.”

Jesse Watters calls for congressional investigation into Trump shooting

Jesse Watters further advocated for a more rigorous examination of the incident, saying, “Congressional Republicans are calling for a House select committee on the assassination attempt of Donald Trump.” He expressed support for this initiative, suggesting that a specialized committee would be better suited to investigate the incident.

Jesse Watters concluded with a strong call for public hearings, emphasizing the need for transparency and direct oversight. He urged, “Take this out of the hands of the feds and conduct hearings under oath on live television.” He added, “Bring in the counter snipers. Bring in Cheatle. Bring in Crooks’ pop.”

He concluded by reassuring his audience, “'Primetime' promises you we will never let them cover this up.”

Jesse Watters praises Trump’s VP pick JD Vance

Shifting focus, Jesse Watters also addressed Donald Trump’s recent announcement of JD Vance as his vice-presidential candidate. On Trump took to Truth Social to reveal his choice, writing, “After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator JD Vance of the Great State of Ohio.”

The announcement was made during the Republican National Convention, and Vance’s nomination was formally accepted during the opening night program.

Jesse Watters responded enthusiastically to the news, declaring, “Trump-Vance, that's the ticket! Smart pick. JD is a self-made man, came out of the middle of nowhere in the steel town of Ohio, went to the Marines, (and) Yale. (He is a) great best-selling author, kind of like myself, and then is a venture capitalist but not a corporate guy.”

Watters praised Vance’s background and credentials, positioning him as a strong complement to Trump’s candidacy. Watters also took a swipe at the current Vice President, Kamala Harris, saying, “Also, (Vance) is probably going to eloquently wipe the floor with laffin' Harris.

He lauded Vance’s media skills, describing him as “very, very suave when it comes to mainstream media interviews- cool, calm and collected, and able to deliver the 'America first' punch in the mouth with class.”
