Jessica Alba breaks silence on split from Cash Warren: 'Time for us to embark on a new chapter'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jessica Alba has broken her silence over her reported breakup with Cash Warren after 16 years of marriage.
The couple, who tied the knot on May 19, 2008, share three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, as well as son Hayes, 7.

Earlier reports revealed that the duo had separated after facing challenges in their relationship, and were moving toward a divorce.
Speculation grew after Jessica and Cash Warren were seen without their wedding rings, including Jessica’s appearance at a pre-Golden Globes party without Cash or her ring as per TMZ.
Breaking her silence on the separation, Jessica shared a heartfelt message on Instagram on January 16.

“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” Alba wrote.

In the post, Jessica Alba said she is 'proud' of growing up with Cash Warren as a couple and in marriage.
“I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years, and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals," Alba continued.
Alba said their focus remains on their family, writing, “We are moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will forever be family. "
"Our children remain our highest priority, and we request privacy at this time," she added.
Jessica Alba on choosing Cash Warren 'through thick and thin'
The separation comes after Jessica Alba and Cash Warren celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in May 2024.
Reflecting on their time together, Alba shared pictures and wrote on Instagram, “I’m proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family.”

Jessica and Warren presented a united front earlier in January when they celebrated their son Hayes’ 7th birthday. Around the same time, Jessica Alba posted a cryptic message on New Year’s Eve.
