LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jessica Simpson isn’t bothered about the trolls at all!

Days after being called out for her rumored drinking habit, the singer stepped out with her girls’ pals for a night out.

She waved and smiled at the camera before exiting Hollywood’s Mother Wolf Italian restaurant in a black SUV.

Jessica Simpson recently clapped back at a troller

The 44-year-old was recently trolled on her Instagram post, where she shared a photo of her son Jace, 11.

Responding to a user, who commented, “STOP DRINKING!” she wrote, “I haven’t wanted or touched alcohol since October 2017 and it has been the best decision I’ve made for myself and for my family.”

Simpson continued, “[Thank you] for your concern, but you have me very misunderstood.”

The Instagram user was quick to apologize to the ‘Irresistible’ singer for assuming, “I’m so happy to hear that!! Sorry for my misunderstanding.”

Jessica Simpson claims she has quit alcohol in 2017 

Jessica Simpson, in her memoir ‘Open Book’, confessed that she had been addicted to pills and alcohol.

In 2021, Simpson shared a throwback snap from her drinking days back in 2017, and wrote about her sobriety journey, reported Page Six.

“I knew in this very moment I would allow myself to take back my light, show victory over my internal battle of self-respect, and brave this world with piercing clarity,” she captioned her post.

“The real work that needed to be done in my life was to actually accept failure, pain, brokenness, and self sabotage. The drinking wasn’t the issue. I was,” she added.

Simpson also talked about struggle to keep her self respect, “I didn’t love myself. I didn’t respect my own power. Today I do. I have made nice with the fears and I have accepted the parts of my life that are just sad."

“I own my personal power with soulful courage. I am wildly honest and comfortably open. I am free,” she added.

Simpson is also a proud mother to daughters Maxwell, 12, and Birdie, five, with husband Eric Johnson. 

The 'I Belong to Me' singer is planning to relaunch her music career in the coming days.
