WASHINGTON, DC: Jill Biden appeared to be all-in to mock Kamala Harris as she repeated the word “joy” several times during an event at the White House on Wednesday, December 11.

Jill even clarified by noting that the attendees were "reading into" her comments, as per The New York Post.

She was reportedly addressing a conference on advancing women’s health research, where she mentioned the “joy” of the holidays.

The specific word was reportedly critical to Harris' campaign as she ran against Donald Trump before losing the 2024 presidential election.

Jill Biden urged the attendees to take a look at the White House decor for Christmas. She stated, “I hope that you all feel that sense of, you know, peace and light and that, just for a moment, when you leave here today, that you feel — I don’t know — a little — a sense of joy.”

“Because I think we all need, like, this — you know, we all need to feel joy now during this — this time of the season, during — just during this time,” she told the people.

The 73-year-old educator, however, added, “You're all reading into that!” which led to a burst of laughter from the audience.

This came as reports have claimed that Jill and the vice president’s relationship went frosty after Joe Biden backed out from the race and Harris took over.

However, the change did not benefit the Democratic party as Trump won the race and will soon be taking control of the Oval Office.

Donald Trump calls Jill Biden ‘nice’

Though the White House has always dismissed any tension between the Bidens and Harris, the first family reportedly did not acknowledge her and her husband Doug Emhoff’s presence at the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday, December 8.

In contrast, Jill appeared quite friendly with Trump as they attended the re-opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on December 7.

Even the incoming commander-in-chief praised her saying, “Very nice. She couldn’t have been nicer.”

“She was very nice and we had a very nice conversation,” he added.
