REHOBOTH BEACH, DELAWARE: First Lady Jill Biden reportedly seemed "unbothered" as President Joe Biden stumbled through the sand near his home in Delaware over the weekend.

The 81-year-old President struggled to make his way down the Gordons Pond Trail in Rehoboth Beach near his home on Sunday, November 10, as he took a walk with his wife, the Daily Mail reported.



 

Jill Biden seems 'unbothered' as husband Joe stumbles through sand on Delaware beach

Joe Biden nearly faceplanted as he walked nervously over the unsafe terrain and at a point, seemed to nearly lose his footing completely, while the First Lady Jill Biden remained surefooted and unbothered.

Interestingly, reporters, who were nearby and recorded the scene, were heard gasping as he stumbled down the sands and seemingly anticipated that he was going to fall, according to the outlet.

The incident took place after President Biden announced that he would host President-elect Donald Trump in the White House on Wednesday, November 13.

Moreover, this will be their first encounter since the two met for the presidential debate in June, which turned out to be disastrous for Biden who ended up quitting the presidential race.

Biden said on Wednesday, November 6, that he had a conversation with Trump where he congratulated him and "expressed his commitment to ensuring a smooth transition".

Joe Biden called for Americans to "bring down the temperature" while he addressed the country for the first time after Donald Trump's election victory, according to Sky News.

The President said while speaking in the White House Rose Garden, "I know for some people it is a time for victory, for others it is a time of loss... the country chooses one or the other. I have said many times you can't love your country only when you win, you can't love your neighbor only when you agree."

He continued, "The people vote and choose their own leaders and they do it peacefully. In a democracy, the will of the people prevails."

The president also talked about the "integrity of the American electoral system" and said, "It is honest, it is fair and it is transparent. It can be trusted, win or lose."

Jill Biden slammed as she looks 'unbothered' while husband Joe stumbles on beach

Several internet users slammed Jill Biden as she seemed "unbothered" when President Joe Biden stumbled in the sand while walking on the beach near his home in Delaware over the weekend.

Some readers took to the comments section of the Daily Mail article to express their views on the same. One comment read, "Apparently a wife who doesn’t need her husband any longer," while another said, "This is just awful."
