She said that she had just finished pilates and was on her way to get a bone density scan.

She explained that the scan was to see how her bones were doing because the pills she had to take could weaken them over time.
"The bone density scan is to see how my bones really are, because the pills I have to go on for 7-10 years apparently could lead to osteoporosis," she continued. "So before I start infusion they want to see how healthy my bones are."
Additionally, she mentioned that people have inquired about when she would be "done" with her cancer diagnosis. However, she emphasized that there is no definitive conclusion when it comes to dealing with cancer.
“It’s every day, but still feeling grateful... I feel grateful just to move"
Jill Martin reveals cancer diagnosis in July 2023
Martin first shared her cancer diagnosis in July, saying that it felt like an “out-of-body experience” and that it happened “really fast.”
She wrote an essay in 'Today,' where she said that she had a higher risk for breast cancer because both her mom and grandmother had it.
At the time, she shared that her mother received a cancer diagnosis in her late 40s, underwent a double mastectomy, and is currently in a "healthy" state.
Having lost her grandmother to breast cancer, Martin mentioned that she was a candidate for genetic testing to evaluate her risk. Following the test, she underwent a sonogram and an MRI, during which doctors discovered that she had breast cancer.
“That (BRCA) test saved my life,” Martin said. “Had I not gotten the test, I wouldn’t have gotten the scans, and we would be telling a very different story,” she wrote.
