Jimmy Fallon shares Olivia Rodrigo's 'career manifestation' with pic of her pop-star-themed 6th birthday

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On December 28, 2023, Olivia Rodrigo appeared on 'The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon' where she shared manifesting her career by having a pop-star-themed 6th birthday party.

A few minutes into the show, Fallon praised Olivia Rodrigo for her early songwriting talent, and Olivia acknowledged that she has always been into writing songs from a young age.

The conversation touches on how she manifested her career and also mentions her pop-star themed birthday party at the age of 6.

"You wrote a jam at 5 years old. Sheesh. Wow", Fallon praised. "Olivia, you kind of, like, manifested this career," he added.

As Rodrigo replied, "I suppose so. I mean, I was writing songs, like, at such an early age. I've always been into it", Fallon continued, stating, "And you had a pop -- a pop-star-themed birthday party when you were 6."

Thereafter, Fallon brought up a photo of Olivia's pop-star-themed 6th birthday party that her mom provided. Olivia jokingly mentioned her mom writing the interview and expressed nostalgia about the memory.

Olivia Rodrigo started taking singing and acting lessons at an early age

Olivia Rodrigo, an American singer-songwriter and actress, first rose to prominence as a child actress on Disney television programs like 'Bizaardvark' (2016–2019) and 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' (2019–2022).

She began her career as an actress, appearing in an Old Navy commercial and later earning a spot in the movie 'American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success', marking the beginning of her Disney career and helping her transition into the music industry.

Her music career took off in 2020 with the release of her debut single 'Drivers License,' which became a hit and made her the youngest solo artist to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 twice.

She continued to gain popularity with her debut album, 'Sour' (2021), which features a blend of pop, folk, and alternative rock influences.

The album earned her numerous accolades, including Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance for 'Drivers License', and Best Pop Vocal Album for 'Sour.'
