LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a monologue on the Thursday night, February 29, episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', Jimmy Kimmel delved into a range of recent events, including the Supreme Court's decision to postpone any criminal judgment against Donald Trump until after the 2024 election.

However, before addressing this topic, Kimmel took a humorous jab at Trump's alleged financial struggles in dealing with a $454 million judgment for business fraud in New York.

Navigating Trump's financial dilemma

Kimmel highlighted the predicament Trump faces in appealing the fraud case, emphasizing the need to produce the full $454 million or secure a bond for it.

"I mentioned last night that in order to appeal the ruling in his fraud case in New York, he has to come up with the full $454 million dollar penalty. Or a bond to cover it," Kimmel said.

"In other words, a man who became famous for never paying anyone back has to convince a bonding company he will definitely pay them back. And it’s not happening. It’s an astonishing amount of," Kimmel said, trailing off comedically.

Kimmel suggests selling Eric Trump and proposes 'Oprah-Lago'

The late-night host then playfully suggested that Trump's first move might involve selling his least favorite child, Eric, to cover the substantial penalty.

"He owes like a whole Powerball Lottery jackpot. He may very well have to sell off his properties to cover it. But that’s a worst-case scenario. His first move is to see how much he can get for Eric on Craigslist. He has him listed in the ‘Tools’ section," Kimmel joked.

Injecting some political humor into the mix, Kimmel envisioned an amusing outcome where Trump might have to sell his iconic property, Mar-A-Lago, to a billionaire liberal. Playfully proposing the name "Oprah-Lago," Kimmel added a touch of satire to the situation.

"Wouldn’t it be great if Trump has to sell Mar-A-Lago to some billionaire liberal? Maybe Oprah-Lago would be a solution?" he added.

Internet reacts to Kimmel's take on Trump's financial woes

The social media sphere lit up with diverse reactions to Jimmy Kimmel's humorous take on Donald Trump's financial challenges.

One user wrote, "Almost sounds like Trump is speaking a language that no one else can understand."

Another added, "Biden has to tweet that he is sending seal team 6 to Mar a Lago. total immunity right Donnie?"

One replied, "Trump is just so outrageous. He says the craziest BS!!! “Millions” of people??? Good lord. BTW, I absolutely LOVE Shawn Hayes!!! "

Another commented, "I can’t believe people actually wanted to see orange man. I’m from eagle pass texas. His trip down here was pointless!!"
