JoJo Siwa shows off new winged teddy bear tattoo as she teases new album

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: JoJo Siwa has added another tattoo to her collection, confirmed when she was photographed with a new design featuring a winged teddy bear on her arm.

This new ink joins the many that Siwa had previously acquired and more importantly, this latest tattoo is reportedly linked to her upcoming album.

The 'Karma' singer visited Costello Tattoo Studio in Sherman Oaks this week to get the tattoo on her right arm, as per TMZ.

Costello Tattoo informed that their artist spent 2 hours creating the bear tattoo, as per Pinkvilla.

According to the outlet, the image is a replica of what Siwa's fans will see on her upcoming album. The album has been eagerly awaited since Siwa released the first single, 'Karma', in April. 

Ben, the artist from Los Angeles, California, who tattooed her, shared on his Instagram about the experience. "Her new album cover brought to life in ink. Thank you, JOJO for coming into Costello Studio. Can't wait to hear your new album!"

The series of pictures showed Siwa standing alone, smiling at the camera, proudly displaying her design, and another with the artist standing beside her.

It's worth noting that the release of the album's single generated excitement and also sparked controversy for Siwa, who initially claimed to have written the song and pioneered a new genre of pop — remarks she later clarified.

Siwa has constantly been getting more tattoos. She recently visited Night School in Venice, another tattoo parlor, where she had '417' inked in large bubble numbers above '1,000,000,000'. The artist responsible, Christian Delacruz, explained that Siwa wanted the numbers to commemorate her song 'Boomerang' surpassing 1 billion views on YouTube, making it the 417th song to achieve this milestone.

In August 2023, Siwa announced her first tattoo experience, where she got '1031' inked alongside her friends Raven-Symone and Miranda Maday.

Siwa shared the significance of the tattoo on Snapchat shortly after its completion. "The official meaning [of] 1031 is how many days my first concert tour lasted, but then '03 is the year that I was born," she explained. Regarding the other numbers, Siwa mentioned, "Three is a significant number, but I can't say why yet."

One Facebook user trolled, "Trying so hard to show she is grown up but gets a teddy bear lol 😂 I know teddy bears are cute and all, but… lol" Another suggested, "Baby go take a break fo ra little."

A user commented, "This poor girl just wants attention to feel like she has so worth in this world every since a child. I just hope she doesn't go down the wrong road."

One individual assumed, "She will regret that one for sure lol," while another added, "Everything this girl does is beyond cringe."
