WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden faced mockery as he appeared to have a noticeable food stain on the lower part of his suit jacket during a Fourth of July event hosted at the White House.

Beyond this incident, the incumbent has also been criticized for everything from his frail appearance to his declining cognitive health, especially after his poor performance in the CNN debate against Donald Trump.

Internet mocks President Joe Biden as he steps onto the White House balcony with a visible food stain on his suit jacket

After a video of Biden with the visible food stain on his suit jacket was shared on X (formerly Twitter), a netizen wrote, "All that money and you don't even have somebody walking behind him with a scraper and Water with a cloth? The American people see everything We are not stupid and the choice is clear."

One joked, "Did he eat the soup like in space balls? Is that his little stomach alien popping out?" and another quipped, "It's just a snack for later."

An individual speculated that it was an "ice cream stain," while someone else remarked, "It's more than likely chewed mashed potatoes !"

"He wasn’t burped properly," said another person amid escalating mockery over the POTUS' supposed mental decline.

President Joe Biden faced intense scrutiny over his poor performance in CNN debate

Critics observed that Biden's speech seemed strained at times, with occasional moments of speaking too softly to be clearly heard during his highly anticipated debate against Trump, as per OK Magazine. Moreover, he frequently appeared to struggle to maintain his train of thought or experienced pauses during his responses.

On Friday, July 5, CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Dr Sanjay Gupta told Jim Sciutto, "If he were my patient, frankly, if he were my father, I would advocate for this sort of [cognitive] testing again in large part because there might be something you can do about it."

Biden later admitted that he hadn't made a wise decision and had opted for a demanding travel schedule before the debate, which left him feeling worn out.

The POTUS asserted, "We’re going to win because when Democrats unite, we will always win. Just as we beat Donald Trump in 2020, we’re going to beat him again in 2024. There is no one I’d rather be in this battle with than all of you. So, let’s link arms. Let’s get this done. You, me, the Vice President. Together."
