WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Joe Biden took a jibe at President Donald Trump and said that he is "not behaving like a Republican President" following his first 100 days in office.

During the BBC interview, Biden berated Trump for the policies he has put in place and the actions he has taken with world leaders throughout the start of his second term, per the outlet.

Biden said about Trump, "He’s not behaving like a Republican president."

Moreover, Biden also addressed Trump and Vice President JD Vance's heated argument with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this February.

"I found it beneath America, the way that took place," the former POTUS added.

Furthermore, Biden also referred to Trump's approach of suggesting Ukraine surrender, or cease to resist, regarding their war against Vladimir Putin's Russia as "modern-day appeasement", per OK Magazine.

Biden said about the Russian leader, "Anybody who thinks Putin’s going to stop is foolish."

Further in the interview, Biden also slammed Trump for continuously making threats to conquer lands, such as suggesting the United States "take back Panama", annex Greenland, or control Canada, per the outlet.

The former president stated, "And the way we talk about now that, 'it’s the Gulf of America', 'maybe we’re going to have to take back Panama', 'maybe we need to acquire Greenland', 'maybe Canada should be a 51st state'. What the hell's going on here?"

"What president ever talks like that? That’s not who we are. We’re about freedom, democracy, opportunity — not about confiscation," Biden added.

Joe Biden warns Donald Trump could be playing with fire if he plans to take over other countries' land

Biden issued a warning during the BBC interview about how fragile world peace is and also suggested that Trump could be playing with fire if he continues to plan to take over land.

The ex-POTUS said, "Every generation has to fight to maintain democracy. We’ve done it well for 80 years. I’m worried there’s a loss of understanding of the consequences of that."

He also mentioned during the interview why he waited so long to drop out of the 2024 presidential election.

He said, "What we had set out to do, no one thought we could do. And we had become so successful in our agenda, it was hard to say, ‘No, I’m going to stop now’… It was a hard decision."

Notably, Biden waited until July 2024 to remove himself from the 2024 presidential race. Former Vice President Kamala Harris soon replaced him as the Democratic nominee.

Interestingly, there was backlash from the Democratic Party because of the lack of ability to vote for who should be going against Trump in the election, per OK Magazine.
