WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden's reelection campaign supporters are now promoting "Plan B" and characterizing the circumstances as "Armageddon" after the 81-year-old was widely ridiculed for his debate performance against former President Donald Trump last week.

The change occurred as Biden's campaign disclosed that it has raised $264 million in the past three months, with at least $27 million coming in since the debate on Thursday, June 27. According to reports, however, donors are uneasy about Biden's onstage demeanor behind the scenes.

The newspaper noted that one more significant Biden donor set up a Google Docs survey after the debate to find out what other donors thought.

Top Democratic donor John Morgan terms Joe Biden's preparation for the debate 'political malpractice'

Top Democratic benefactor John Morgan claimed to Politico that the "whole planning [and] preparation" that Joe Biden had received for the debate constituted "political malpractice."

He pointed finger at senior advisor Anita Dunn, former Chief of Staff Ron Klain, and Dunn's husband, Bob Bauer, who served as Biden's personal attorney. "I think he has a misplaced trust in these three people, and I believe he has from the inception," Morgan told the outlet.

Another Democratic strategist from a battleground state added, "The number of people who have access to the president has gotten smaller and smaller and smaller" and "They’ve been digging deeper into the bunker for months now."
