The couple tied the knot in a September wedding held in Mallorca, Spain.

The standout moment captured in the Instagram post featured King and Piet sharing a kiss, seemingly fresh from a spontaneous plunge into the pool at their reception.
In a recent interview with Elite Daily, King revealed that the impromptu dive wasn't initially planned but resulted from the couple's desire to cool off amid the celebratory heat.
The actress shared, “It was not planned because we were already having a pool party the next day. I have never danced harder in my life than at my wedding. My husband and I got so hot, so sweaty. You know that heat where you can start to feel your heartbeat in your face? I was that hot."
Despite the unplanned nature of the pool dive, King ensured the wedding photographers were in the loop, turning the moment into a captivating and shared experience with their guests.
King did alert the wedding photographers so they could capture the fun moment, even though the jump was spontaneous.
“I knew the photographers would want to know, so I told them we were going for it. Then, we just jumped in, and it was the most fun because so many people joined us in their fancy dresses," she recalled. "It was the most romantic moment to me. It was so spontaneous, and it felt like such a movie, honestly. I loved the camaraderie of it all.”
Joey King and Steven Piet chose La Fortaleza, a historic fortress in Mallorca, as the backdrop for their nuptials. Describing the venue as the "Spanish version of The Great Gatsby," King expressed how it perfectly embodied the unique, private, grand, and intimate atmosphere they sought for their special day.
"It felt timeless, the same way we feel about our love for each other.”
The ceremony, held atop the fortress' lower-terrace swimming pool, offered breathtaking views and a memorable setting for the exchange of handwritten vows. King shared with Vogue, "Looking out from the altar at all of our friends and family was an unforgettable moment. We truly felt so perfectly present, and soaking in every detail was pure magic."
