LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: John Mulaney poked fun at the recent drama involving NFL coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson during the latest episode of his Netflix talk show.

The comedian brought the topic into a staged bit with his sidekick Richard Kind and a young woman named “Geirsten” on the April 30 episode of 'Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney'.

While talking onstage, John Mulaney told Richard Kind, “I know you’re gonna have a lot to say about surgery.” Kind replied, “Yeah, I got a lot to say.”

Geirsten, standing offstage in a sweatshirt with a stern look, interrupted at that moment, saying, “No, we’re not talking about that,” reminiscent of Belichick's appearance on 'CBS Sunday Morning'.

Geirsten’s appearance was a parody of 24-year-old Jordon Hudson, who recently made headlines for interrupting Bill Belichick’s interview.

During the sit-down, the University of North Carolina coach was asked about his and Hudson’s 49-year age gap, which he brushed off.

“Never been too worried about what anybody else thinks,” Belichick said. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”

Tony Dokoupil, who conducted the interview, then asked how Belichick and Hudson connected, which the former cheerleader shut down immediately. “Not talking about this,” Hudson interjected.

In a voiceover, Dokoupil later revealed that the topic is something “neither one of them is comfortable commenting on,” while also noting that Hudson was a “constant presence during our interview," as US Weekly noted.

In response to the incident, Belichick said in a statement, “I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, 'The Art of Winning.'

Geirsten continued channeling John Hudson’s persona, saying, “I am his idea mill and his muse and I’ll need to see a cut of this before you use it.”

Mulaney responded, “It’s a live show.” Without hesitation, she replied, “It’s not live anymore, sorry. The Richard portions are pre-taped, we’re gonna need to see a cut.”

Kind, channeling Belichick, asked the audience whether they wouldn’t also “give up all [their] friends” for Gerstein.

“I would blow up my brand and distance myself from my fans for one moment in her company,” he said. “Oh, to watch her scroll. To wake up and hear her on the phone in the bathroom.

“It’s a dream. We also have some cute Insta-faces,” Kind continued, poking fun at the way Belichick referred to his Instagram account.

“No, we’re not showing those. Those are private,” Gerstein interjected despite Mulaney clarifying it is a “public” platform.

“Why can’t I have it all, John? A family? A brand? A business? No one deserves it more than me,” she asked.

Hudson has defended her romance with Belichick, which has a 48-year age gap, since the couple went public last year.

Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law takes jab at Jordon Hudson

Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jen, reportedly jumped in to share her opinion on the viral clip. The 'Dudes on Dudes' podcast shared a clip discussing the backlash on Instagram.

On their podcast, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski claimed that Hudson was merely “working with Coach Belichick in the professional world.”

Comedian Nikki Glaser supported the athletes’ stance and commented under the video from the show, saying, “100% this. She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood.”

However, Jennifer Schmitt, who is married to Belichick’s son Stephen, didn’t agree with this take. In response to Glaser’s comment, she wrote, “Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview.”
