Jonathan Majors admits he was 'ashamed' for being aggressive to ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in new audio

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jonathan Majors has allegedly admitted to being aggressive towards his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in a leaked audio obtained by Rolling Stone.

The 28-second recording is said to be from a conversation in September 2022 while the two were in London.

Jonathan Majors says 'I’ve never aggressed a woman'

According to the publication, the former couple discussed the aftermath of a heated argument while living together in London.

At the time, Jonathan Majors was filming the second season of the Disney+ series 'Loki.'

In the audio, Majors is heard expressing remorse, saying, "I’m ashamed [as] I’ve ever [been] … I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you," as per Rolling Stone.

Jabbari responds, "You strangled me and pushed me against the car."

Majors then acknowledges her statement, replying, "Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah." He adds, "That’s never happened to me."

Jabbari further questions Majors, asking, "Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?"

The 'Creed' actor responds, "Well clearly, it’s more than that."

She then states, "Something inside of you," to which Majors replies, "Yeah, towards you." The recording ends abruptly.

Jonathan Majors convicted, avoids jail time

In December 2023, Jonathan Majors, 35, was convicted of assault and harassment following a March 2023 altercation with Grace Jabbari inside a hired car in New York City.

However, he was acquitted of two counts of assault and aggravated harassment, as per New York Post.

Majors avoided jail time but was sentenced to probation and ordered to complete a 52-week domestic violence intervention program.

Grace Jabbari's allegations against Jonathan Majors 

Grace Jabbari filed a civil lawsuit against Jonathan Majors in March 2024, which was later settled.

In the filing, she alleged that Majors slammed her into a car, dragged her inside their home, and strangled her.

She claimed that in September 2022, Majors became physically aggressive after she spent a night out with a friend.



 

Majors, as per court documents, allegedly threw her onto the hood of a car, put her in a headlock, and covered her mouth.

The lawsuit also claimed that Majors brought Jabbari inside their London home and repeatedly struck her head 

 

In November 2024, he and Jabbari settled the lawsuit.

Majors is now engaged to actress Meagan Good.
