LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jonathan Majors has lost another big flick opportunity after Marvel confirmed he will no longer be part of the Dennis Rodman biopic.

The star was found guilty by a jury of assault and harassment of his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari during a domestic dispute, as per CNN.

Majors was to portray the Chicago Bulls star in the biopic which was titled ‘48 Hours in Vegas' tentatively.

The biopic was based on Rodman’s infamous trip to Las Vegas during the 1998 NBA finals.

Lionsgate was supposed to produce the biopic but now producers Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Aditya Sood have hopped on, as per Deadline.

Rodman is also one of the executive producers of the film, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The 'Creed III' star said on ‘ABC New Live’, “I'm standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, 'How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution's evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?'"

Majors was found guilty in a split verdict, where he was also acquitted on two other counts of assault and aggravated harassment.

He said, "I was reckless with her heart, not with her body.”

Where did Jabbari’s injuries come from?

Prosecutors presented images of Jabbari’s injuries, including a cut on her ear and a bruised and swollen finger.

Explaining his side of the story, Majors said, "She went to grab the phone. I held the phone. I pulled the phone back. She came on top of me, squeezed my face, slapped me. That's all I remember.”

Majors denied the injuries were caused by him and said, “That did not happen.”

The host asked where Jabbari’s injuries came from, Majors responded, "I wish to God I knew. That would give clarity. That would give me some type of peace about it."

When asked, “You’re confident you didn’t do it?” The actor replied, “I have no question.”

He later added, "I'm an athlete. I'm a sportsman. I know my body. I know how it moves. I know my strength, or lack thereof, you know? None of that was employed on her.”

Majors was dropped immediately from Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ project too. He was part of last year’s ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' and the Disney+ series ‘Loki'.
