LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, 72, and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 24, have reportedly gained some inspiration from Taylor Swift in reclaiming original work.

As reported by People, Belichick is now being helped by his young girlfriend to reclaim some of the iconic phrases coined by him during his tenure as the Patriots’ coach.

Belichick, who coached the Patriots for 24 long years till 2024, is credited with creating some of the iconic phrases for the team, which are now owned by the New England Patriots and its CEO, Robert Kraft.

Bill Belichick files trademark for his version of phrases

During his tenure as the Patriots' coach, Bill Belichick was credited for creating now-popular phrases like "Do Your Job" and "Ignore the Noise.”

However, the trademarks to these phrases are currently owned by Kraft and the Patriots. In a move to reclaim his expressions, the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach for the Patriots is moving the federal trademark office.

As reported by People, on April 3, Hudson’s company, Trouble Cub Enterprises, filed for 14 trademarks with the federal trademark office.

Hudson, who is the CEO of the TCE, according to her LinkedIn profile, is reportedly helping Belichick get his dues back regarding the ownership of the phrases.

Similar to Taylor Swift re-recording her albums in order to reclaim her musical canon after the entirety of it was purchased by Scooter Braun and re-releasing them with the “Taylor’s Version” name, Hudson has also listed the expressions with "(Bill's Version)" at the end.

Along with the previously mentioned expressions, Belichick is filing a trademark for his other famous phrase, "No Days Off," as "No Days Off (Bill's Version)."

Jordan Hudson appears to be inspired by Taylor Swift

While the couple's method to reclaim the original creation undoubtedly mirrors the ‘Bad Blood’ singer’s method, Hudson has, however, left no stone unturned to make it more pronounced.

For the last few weeks, Hudson has generously used snake references, a metaphor often intertwined with Swift's 'Reputation' era, to show her inspirations.

On April 4, for one of her Instagram posts, Hudson used Swift’s single aimed at Braun titled ‘Look What You Made Me Do’.

On April 13, she paid a tribute to Swift through a snakeskin outfit as Swift's "Vigilante S---" was set in the background.

Earlier this month, she was also spotted with her boyfriend during a recent UNC football practice, where she was sporting a snakeskin coat.
