Josh Abbott's children join him on stage to perform rendition of 'The Luckiest' at Billy Bob's Texas
FORTH WORTH, TEXAS: Josh Abbott was joined on stage by his two children who performed alongside the country singer during his band's back-to-back shows at Billy Bob’s Texas on January 3 and 4, reported Whiskey Riff.
According to the publication, Abbott's daughter Emery and son Luck joined the band to sing his 2020 song 'The Luckiest'. It originally appeared on the 'The Highway Kite' record featuring Catie Offerman.

At the time, Abbott shared that the song was inspired by the time he spent off-road, which made him realize that his life at home was what made him lucky.
On stage, both Emery and Luck held their microphones as they broke into the song. The moment was captured on video and shared on social media by the singer.
At the end of the performance, he was seen grabbing Emery's hands for an adorable father-daughter moment.

Josh Abbott was not the only country singer who had recently brought his children on stage.

In a clip shared on Instagram, Huckleberry is seen leading the crowd as he performed 'I Won't Back Down' by Tom Petty.
The singer shared in the caption of the post that the stadium was where he took the last day trip with his father before he died.
"I was 21 years old and could only dream of getting to play here someday. He knew I would and told me I would. He wanted me to see it so badly. He had just seen Pink Floyd there and it was important to share such a beautiful place for musicians and fans alike. I know he was smiling down as I got to share it with his grandson last night," he expressed.
