Speaking about 'Frozen 3', Gad said, “There’s a reason the movie is coming out in 2027. No one wants to rush this."

"Everyone wants this to not just be a sequel or a money grab. They want this to be absolutely worthy of the story we set out to make in 2013," the 43-year-old actor shared.

While Gad remained tight-lipped about specific details, he assured fans that the creative team behind 'Frozen' is focused on delivering a film that meets the high standards set by its predecessors.

“They have a story they are very, very excited about,” he revealed.

The actor also joked about the secrecy surrounding the project, saying, “Anything I have seen or know I will have been sworn to secrecy on. And beyond that, I think I’ll have Disney lawyers knocking down my door.”

The legacy of 'Frozen'

Since its release in 2013, 'Frozen' has become a cultural phenomenon.

The film grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing animated movies of all time.

Its sequel, 'Frozen 2', debuted in 2019 and surpassed the original’s earnings, solidifying the franchise’s legacy.

The films are celebrated not only for their box office success but also for their unique storytelling.

Unlike traditional Disney tales, 'Frozen' centers on sisterhood, self-discovery, and personal growth. Kristen Bell, who voices Anna, reflected on this during a 2014 interview, saying, “It’s unlike anything Disney has ever done."

"It’s not about romantic love. It’s about believing in someone even when they don’t believe in themselves," Bell added.
