NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Joy Behar alleged former President Donald Trump of being "on Ozempic" while discussing his hush money trial with her co-hosts on the Friday, May 10 episode of 'The View.'

According to the Daily Mail, former federal prosecutor and co-host Sunny Hostin was sharing the details from the trial at the New York Supreme Court, which she attended on the day Trump's ex-aide Madeleine Westerhout took the stand, at the Hot Topics table when Behar made the quip.

Sunny Hostin's remarks on the Trump trial

Behar was reportedly eager to know "what shade of orange" Trump was in the courthouse, when Hostin explained, "It's a burnt sienna. I had never seen him in person and I didn't realize he was that orange. Ana (Navarro) has been making jokes about how orange he is... it's almost like a radioactive orange."

"It's very shocking to see in person, it really is, because he's a tall person and also a little thinner now, I don't know if he's taking the shot or whatever..," she continued, when Behar interjected, saying, "He's on Ozempic, you know it!"

The UD Davis Health website notes Ozempic as a drug that "some physicians prescribe ... to be used for weight loss," even though it has not been approved for that purpose.

Hostin picked up after Behar's quip, saying, "'He's actually looking thinner, but then here's the tea, okay... so he is unlike any defendant sitting in a courtroom that I've ever seen. He's stretching out... He's fist-bumping with attorneys, he took a little nap... like most defendants do not do that. They are instructed to sit there, pay attention, and look with some humility. That's not Donald Trump."

Later on, she predicted, "I really think that he will be convicted. There are [34] counts, he'll be convicted of some of them, if not all of them. I do believe that he will appeal the conviction. I think it will matter that he was convicted, and I think he won't serve four years in prison, but I can't imagine that he gets off with no jail time. I think that would send the wrong message, it will send that he's above the law."

Internet reacts to the co-hosts' discussion on Trump

Netizens slammed Behar, Hostin, as well as the show for their take on the former President, as the following comments on the Daily Mail website demonstrate.

"I’m not going to miss the day that Joy Behar retires," stated a reader.

"Trump is thinner? If he is I didn't notice. Then again I'm not obsessed with him that I star and note every little thing about him. I do accuse Behar of being an annoying person though," wrote another. [sic]

"What would Freud say about Joy and her nonstop obsession with all things Trump?" quipped a user. [sic]

"Lots of body shaming on the view," noted a user. [sic]

"Joy and Sunny bring neither joy nor sunshine to anyone," shared a user.
