Before the show could wrap, Whoopi Goldberg asked Sarah Silverman if she wanted to "do the goodbye," prompting the comedian to go in for a peck on Joy Behar’s lips, drawing cheers and applause from the studio audience.
“Mmmmm,” Behar said afterward with a grin, as Ana Navarro jokingly asked, “How’s her breath?” a callback to an earlier segment about Behar’s mint habit, Page Six reported.
When Silverman asked Behar about the bowl of mints in front of her, the 82-year-old said she likes to have them around, adding, “I need fresh breath!”

After Silverman and Behar shared a playful kiss, Sara Haines couldn’t resist referring to the comment, teasing, "I wonder what it’s like to have a thousand Tic Tacs right now."
