Julian McMahon’s ex-wife Brooke Burns pays tribute after his death with photo of him and their daughter

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Julian McMahon’s death at the age of 56 on July 2, following a private battle with cancer, has left his loved ones and fans heartbroken.
His ex-wife, actress and model Brooke Burns, honored him with a touching post on Instagram the day after the news was announced.

Burns, 47, shared a sentimental photo of McMahon with their daughter, Madison McMahon, now 25, writing "Rest in Peace" over the image.
In the photo, Julian and Madison are seen with their cheeks pressed together, smiling warmly at the camera.
McMahon and Burns were married in 1999 and divorced in 2001. Their daughter was born in June 2000.
Burns later married director and screenwriter Gavin O'Connor in 2013. Julian married Kelly Paniagua in July 2014. He was also previously married to Dannii Minogue from 1994 to 1995.

In a statement shared with Deadline on Friday, July 4, Paniagua confirmed Julian had died in Clearwater, Florida.
“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans," Paniagua said.

"His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible,” she added.
“We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

McMahon rose to fame playing Cole Turner, Phoebe’s love interest on 'Charmed,' from 2000 to 2005. He also starred as Dr Christian Troy on 'Nip/Tuck' from 2003 to 2010.
He later appeared in 'FBI: Most Wanted' on CBS before exiting in January 2022. His final role was on Netflix’s 'The Residence,' which was canceled after one season.

He also portrayed Victor Von Doom in 'Fantastic Four' (2005) and its 2007 sequel. His last red carpet appearance was on March 10 at SXSW in Austin, Texas, where he promoted 'The Surfer' alongside co-star Nicolas Cage.
Following his death, many of McMahon’s former co-stars paid tribute to him on social media. Among them were Charmed stars Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, and Rose McGowan, along with 'Fantastic Four' actor Ioan Gruffudd and others.
