MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Jimmy Fallon's latest monologue packed a punch with humor and commentary on the latest developments in the world of social media and finance.

In particular, Fallon focused on the woes facing Truth Social, the platform launched by former President Donald Trump, and the ripple effects on Trump's financial standing.



 

Fallon roasts Trump over Truth Social's financial woes

"Speaking of Truth Social, the company's stock is plunging after it was reported that last year it lost $58 million," Fallon said.

He couldn't resist a jab at the irony as he noted, "Truth Social's stock tanked so fast, they're changing the name to Twitter."

"When he heard another one of his businesses was tanking, Trump was like, 'Ah, they blow up so fast,'" Fallon joked, capturing the essence of Trump's bombastic persona and his penchant for downplaying setbacks with ease.

The financial implications of Truth Social's struggles didn't escape Fallon's radar either.

"As a result of the stock tanking, Trump's net worth dropped $2 billion," he noted.

"Yeah, Trump's so panicked, he's now selling copies of the Torah," Fallon quipped, drawing laughter from the audience with his portrayal of Trump's desperate attempts to bolster his finances.

Fallon's humor struck a chord with social media users, who found themselves unable to contain their laughter.
