LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans of Michael Jackson were left bewildered by the uncanny resemblance of Michael's nephew Jaafar Jackson with him, as the new set photos of him dropped on social media portraying his uncle, the King of Pop in the upcoming biopic 'Michael'.

Numerous individuals on the social media platform X expressed their shock at the similarities that Jaafar shares with his uncle Michael as he journeys to completely embody the pop icon.

According to People Magazine, 27-year-old Jaafar was spotted on the set of the upcoming biopic 'Michael' in Los Angeles, sporting a striking ensemble.

He donned a blue military-style jacket with gold accents and aviator shades, capturing attention with his resemblance to his late uncle, Michael.

The viral photos, taken on May 4, showcased Jaafar's attire, which closely mirrored an outfit worn by Michael at a press conference back in 1983. This style was iconic for the 'Thriller' legend, especially in his later career as per People Magazine.

In addition to his attire, Jaafar also channeled his uncle through hairstyle, makeup, and mimicking gestures. He replicated Michael's signature smile and frequently used a peace sign, reminiscent of the late singer's mannerisms.

Michael succumbed to a cardiac arrest at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009, according to Britannica.

'Michael' aims to portray all aspects of the late singer's life on the big screen. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, this marks Jaafar's debut acting venture. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 18, 2025, in the United States.
