Justin and Hailey Bieber keeping their son Jack away from her parents Stephen and Kennya Baldwin

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Justin and Hailey Bieber have reportedly been keeping their son, Jack Blues, away from the Rhode Skin founder's parents, Stephen and Kennya Baldwin, due to growing family tensions stemming from differing religious and political beliefs.

While new mothers typically seek support from their parents, Hailey appears to be charting her own path, opting to forgo any assistance or affection from her family. 

Hailey Bieber has been distancing herself from the Baldwin name for years

Hailey Bieber’s strained relationship with her parents became evident following the birth of Jack Blues in August.

Shortly after his arrival, Hailey's father, Stephen, shared his congratulations on social media, but she did not respond to his post. Meanwhile, her mother stirred curiosity by opting not to acknowledge the moment on her own social media accounts.

An exclusive source told DailyMail, "Hailey’s relationship with her family has been eroding for some time now. She was closer with her mom, but that started to break down when she fell pregnant because she didn’t want to tell her family for months."

They further shared, "Hailey had a blowout with her family when her dad asked for prayers for Hailey and Justin, and she told him that she did not want him meddling in her life. Stephen told Hailey that she wouldn’t even know Justin if it were not for him making the introduction. Hailey was not happy about this at all." 

The Biebers reportedly first met in the lobby of NBC's 'Today' in 2009, with Hailey greeting Justin by saying, "Nice to meet you." The couple began dating in 2015 and confirmed their romance in 2018, just three months after the 'Baby' singer's split from Selena Gomez.

Hailey further distanced herself from her family by adopting the last name Bieber after marrying Justin in 2018. An insider dished, "Hailey has wanted to not be linked to the Baldwin name for years and was more than happy to change her last name to Bieber the second she and Justin were married."

Hailey Bieber feels her family is against her

During her interview with the W Magazine, Hailey Bieber admitted, "I'm not super close with my family at this point in my life. Because I feel like I'm very independent. I'm my own individual now, and I've built my own family. But when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very fond, beautiful memories."

She distanced herself from her family during her teenage years to pursue a modeling career. At 17, she signed with Ford Models and relocated to New York City.

Hailey shared, "I started traveling the world, making my own money. I got my own apartment and had to learn how to live on my own. That pushed me into adulthood kind of quickly."

Sources also uncovered the reason why she felt like the black sheep in comparison to her older sister, Alaia Baldwin. One said, "Hailey doesn’t go to her mom or to her sister really. She feels that her mom has always favored Alaia over her and that she is looked at as the black sheep."

"It is almost like her dad mom and sister are on one team and she thinks that they are against her, so she chooses not to associate right now," added the tipster.

Sources further revealed the key reasons behind the deteriorating dynamics within her family.

"Her parents are still married and share the same brain. Her dad is a religious zealot, and her mom does whatever her dad says to do," noted an insider. 

Hailey and Justin Bieber are adamant about being their own separate family

Sources also revealed how Justin Bieber's relationship with the Baldwins has become strained amid the tensions within Hailey Bieber's family.

A tipster shared, "Justin does not get along with her family and now that they have the baby, things are even more tense. He sees her family like he sees his family: dysfunctional and not out for their best interests."

They added, "The two of them are trying to keep Jack away from their families as much as possible and are adamant about being their own separate family."

"They claim that they don’t need anyone, and Hailey has done a fine job of convincing Justin she is the only one he needs. Since the birth of the baby, their marriage has taken a hit because it is stressful and neither one of them really have anyone to turn to for advice," further shared the source.

Hailey's parents have yet to share any pictures of their grandson, Jack Blues.
