Justin Baldoni's scathing 6-word reply to Blake Lively after inappropriately breaking character revealed
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A shocking new lawsuit filed by Blake Lively has revealed her disturbing interaction with her co-star Justin Baldoni during the filming of 'It Ends With Us' has been revealed. The lawsuit also details the 'Jane The Virgin' actor's scathing six-word response to the actress as he broke character during an intimate scene.
The legal action, filed on December 20, 2023, details how Baldoni, 40, allegedly deviated from his character during an improvised slow-dance scene with Lively. The lawsuit claims that during the sequence, the two were dancing without the sound being recorded.
Justin Baldoni's inappropriate off-script behavior during filming shocks Blake Lively
While the camera rolled, Baldoni reportedly broke character and began speaking to Lively out of context. Rather than staying in his role as Ryle Kincaid, Baldoni allegedly leaned in close to Lively and made an inappropriate comment.
"It smells so good," he is alleged to have said while dragging his lips down her neck in a manner the suit describes as “unrelated” to the characters they were portraying.
The lawsuit claimed that during the scene, Baldoni was "caressing Ms Lively with his mouth in a way that had nothing to do with their roles."
Lively, 37, was reportedly disturbed by Baldoni's behavior and voiced her concerns after the scene.
The lawsuit emphasized that his comment was unnecessary as there was no sound involved in the filming. In response, Baldoni’s six-word reply reportedly left Lively in shock: “I’m not even attracted to you.”
Baldoni, who is known for his role as Ryle Kincaid in 'It Ends With Us', has yet to publicly address the lawsuit.
Lawsuit reveals tension between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni
The lawsuit also touches on tensions between the two stars off-camera, with rumors of an ongoing feud circulating throughout the press tour for the film. Sources claimed that both Lively and Baldoni avoided walking the red carpet together and even refrained from posing for photos.
Speculation continued to grow as many fans observed that Blake and other individuals associated with the film including author Colleen Hoover, were not following Baldoni on Instagram.
Lively later faced a wave of online backlash, with fans criticizing her for being "tone-deaf" as she appeared to avoid discussing the themes of domestic violence while promoting the film.
During red-carpet interviews, many also accused her of focusing more on promoting her hair and drink products rather than addressing the film's significant topics. As a result, Lively's reputation suffered, with some speculating that it could mark the end of her career.
