LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans expressed concern when Justin Bieber posted a picture of himself sobbing on social media over the weekend, but insiders claimed there was no need to panic because of the true reason for the emotional pictures.

The 30-year-old singer worried fans on Sunday, April 28, when he shared pictures of himself crying on social media.

Many speculated that the reason for the pictures was because of his friendship with troubled rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs or his alleged relationship issues with his wife Hailey Bieber, 27.

Source reveals, 'Justin wears his emotions on his sleeve'

An insider put an end to rumors, saying that after praying, the 'Sorry' singer was just filled with emotion and his love for Jesus Christ.

"Justin wears his emotions on his sleeve and it is no secret that he is very religious," they revealed to Daily Mail.

The source continued: "The pictures he put up of him crying may have prompted fans to question his wellbeing, and whether his marriage is on the rocks – but it was about his love of Jesus."

"It is deep, but he prays and often sheds tears after diving into his faith and though he prays and gives thanks for all that he has in his life, he gets carried away and the emotions that come from it all are released through tears."

"He is not ashamed or embarrassed as he wants people to see his emotions. It helps him out for all that he goes through," the source added.

They said, "He feels that people should be vulnerable, and he is being vulnerable, and he believes it shows some maturity that he once didn't have. In a word, he thinks it is beautiful."

In pictures posted on Sunday, Justin could be seen looking downcast and staring down the camera. As the camera panned closer, a tear could be seen flowing down his cheek.

His unsettling picture was shared on Instagram along with a few others, one of which was from his surprise Coachella performance during Tems' set.

Source previously claimed 'Justin has been facing some difficulties'

A source earlier told Entertainment Tonight that the 'Stay' singer has been going through a difficult time.

"Justin has been facing some difficulties lately. He has been having a hard time and hasn't been feeling like his usual self," the source revealed.

The insider claimed that despite the situation, Justin's wife Hailey—who commented, "A pretty crier," on his photo—has been supporting him throughout.

"Hailey has been doing her best to be there for Justin, but it is upsetting for her to see him struggle," said the source.

"They are doing their best to make things work and be supportive of each other. They are committed to doing whatever it takes to make things better."
