LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Television star Justine Bateman accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of acting like "victims" since leaving the life of English royalty and settling in the United States, the New York Post reported on Monday, March 17.

The 59-year-old 'Family Ties' and 'Desperate Housewives' alum presented her allegations in a blog post titled, 'The Problem With Meghan Markle: It’s Not What She’s Doing, It’s the Victim Olympics Road She Took to Get There'.

This comes at the heels of the 43-year-old 'Suits' star's new show, 'With Love, Meghan' premiering on Netflix. Markle also has her hands full with several recent business ventures, including establishing her lifestyle brand 'As Ever', and hosting her new podcast, 'Confessions of a Female Founder'.

Justine Bateman's complaints against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

In her Race Track Substack blog, Justine Bateman slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, stating on March 15, "The problem with Meghan Markle (and her husband, Harry) is that every opportunity they have explored or exploited over the past few years has been due to their very aggressive Victim Olympics campaign."

"The difference between doing that two years ago and doing it now is immense. It’s 2025, and no one wants to see victims anymore," she continued. "No one wants to watch someone playact at something they didn’t earn."

While she doesn't believe "anyone wishes (Markle) ill," Bateman emphasized that people have the right to not "go along with another’s ‘narrative’ anymore."

"It's 2025 now and people want you to earn your spot," she expressed. "The public doesn't want to listen to people who bemoaned their lack of privacy, and yet take every opportunity to be extremely public with whatever they're doing. They are two people riding the fumes of a past Victim Era, in a new era now where victimhood has fallen far out of favor."

The sister of Hollywood star Jason Bateman had previously slammed the royal couple as "ambulance chasers" after they visited an evacuation center for the wildfire victims in Pasadena, California, back in January.

"What a repulsive 'photo op' they achieved. They are 'touring the damage'? Are they politicians now? They don't live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists," she wrote on X at the time.

Internet slams Justine Bateman for her hateful take

Netizens reacting to Justine Bateman's comments slammed her on the social media platform X. The following tweets demonstrate their takes.

"Sad, that the only way you can get back to 'fame' is bashing another woman. Accept your age, lack of talent, look and move on," wrote a user.

"She has been the human pinata for long enough," noted another of Meghan Markle.

"People need to get over it. Find someone deserving of your hate, if you gotta hate," expressed a third.

"You really are a miserable resentful raisin, who now lives to clout chase after some current day minor celebrity. How regrettable for you," stated a fourth.

"No one needs an 80s has been seeking attention in 2025 either," jibed a fifth.

"She’s flourishing and you’re not," quipped yet another.
