CRYPTO ARENA, LOS ANGELES: Singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the trio behind the hit song “Golden” from Netflix’s 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', have made history as the first K-Pop artists to win a Grammy Award.

The trio made their presence felt on the red carpet, sharing their experiences and highlighting the designers they wore. True to her outspoken nature, Audrey Nuna subtly referenced her background while discussing her outfit.

Without mentioning any protests or ICE-related topics, she described herself as a “proud daughter of an immigrant” while talking about her attire.

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' Audrey Nuna calls herself 'proud daughter of an immigrant'

Audrey Nuna, who lent her voice to the character Mira, portrayed by May Hong, the lead dancer of Huntrix in 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' spoke about her red carpet look. She said, "I'm wearing Tom Brown Couture tonight. It's a really meaningful look for me, because I'm obviously a proud daughter of immigrants."

She explained the personal story behind her outfit, adding, "Our story of survival was around clothing, manufacturing, and Tom Brown is one of the first brands that my grandpa ever fulfilled orders for. So it's a huge, full circle. Thank you to Tom Brown, Masika, and Alligator Jesus for the look."

ICE OUT pin at Grammys 2026

At the Grammy Awards 2026, the “ICE OUT” pin became a noticeable symbol worn by several artists on the red carpet. Instead of attending the event as usual, many musicians and celebrities used their high-profile moment to draw attention to ongoing protests and concerns about how US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been operating.

The pins reading “ICE OUT” were worn by stars such as Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Billie Eilish, Kehlani, and others to signal opposition to ICE’s actions and to show support for affected communities. Audrey Nuna and the other HUNTR/X members did not wear the pin.
