NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kai Trump is closing out 2025 with gratitude, reflection, and a clear sense of how much her life has changed over the past year. The teenage golfer and content creator shared a heartfelt recap highlighting milestones that ranged from family moments to major personal achievements.

In a social media post shared late this week, Trump looked back on a year that blended growing up in the public eye with stepping into new chapters — both personally and professionally — while navigating life as the granddaughter of President Donald Trump.

Kai Trump calls 2025 a year she will always remember

In her post, Kai reflected on what made the year so meaningful, noting how several defining moments came together in a short span of time.

“2025 was such a big year,” she wrote. “From my grandpa becoming president, to starting my senior year of high school, making my LPGA debut, and going all in on YouTube — it’s been a year I’ll always remember. So grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey.”

The message resonated with followers who have watched her grow not only as an athlete but also as a young public figure carving out her own identity beyond her family name.

LPGA debut marks defining moment in Kai Trump’s golf journey

One of the standout milestones from the year was Kai Trump’s highly anticipated LPGA debut. She is set to compete at 'The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge' tournament at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, scheduled to take place from November 13 to 16.

The event is one of the final stops on the LPGA calendar and attracts many of the sport’s top competitors. Kai previously announced that she received a sponsor exemption to participate, calling the opportunity a lifelong dream.

“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour,” she said in a statement shared in October. “This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward to meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.”

The moment marked a major step in her development as a competitive golfer and reinforced her long-term aspirations within the sport.

Trump praises granddaughter’s discipline and talent

President Donald Trump has frequently spoken about his granddaughter’s dedication to golf, often praising her work ethic and progress on the course.

“I just wanna say that I play a lot of golf with Kai and she’s a fantastic golfer,” he said. “She’s a scratch player, which is amazing. I think some day in the not-too-distant future she’s gonna be much better than scratch.”

He added with characteristic humor, “She’s doing really well and she wins a lot of matches. And some day she’ll be able to beat her grandfather, but I’m not sure when that’ll be.”

YouTube becomes a platform for Kai Trump’s growing voice

Beyond golf, 2025 also marked a turning point in Kai’s digital presence. She committed more fully to YouTube, where she has begun documenting her experiences, travels, and moments tied to both sports and public life.

One of her most personal videos, titled I Went to the Ryder Cup With My Grandpa (POTUS), captured her first-ever Ryder Cup experience at Bethpage Black. In the vlog, she described the moment as “special,” sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of the event and her time alongside her grandfather.
